Abstract:
Craig Baldwin presents an energized discourse on copyright infringement, fair use and culture jamming, via a montage of interviews, music and stock footage stemming from the infamous Negativland-U2 case where U2's recording company, Island Records, sued Negativland for releasing a parody. The film also includes interviews with other artists involved in the appropriation of popular media.
