Correspondence, biographical material, reference files, reports, reminiscences, writings, exhibition catalogs, notes, clippings, and ephemera, relating to Willis's career as a museum professional, including appointments at Henry Art Gallery (curator, 1946-1948), San Francisco Museum of Art (1948-1950), and California Palace of the Legion of Honor (acting assistant director, 1950-1951); her work as consultant in the production and marketing of decorative arts for the Technical Assistance Administration of the United Nations and the governments of India, Morocco, Taiwan, and Vietnam; her activities as textile historian and collector; and her activities in promoting the work of Mark Tobey and Morris Graves.
